The campus celebrated International Women’s Day with a deeply engaging cultural and academic program focused on women’s empowerment, achievements, and personal narratives. The event brought together the entire college community to honor the contributions of women across various spheres of society.
Key Highlights of the Event:
- Inspirational Addresses:Following a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by the faculty and college management, Principal Dr. Uday Narayan Singh delivered the keynote address to open the event.
- Poetry & Musical Tributes:Students Ritu and Puja performed a moving group song titled “कोमल है कमजोर नहीं“. Creative poetry recitations were delivered by Riddhi (“मैं स्त्री हूँ“) and Richa (“नारी आओ बोलो“), capturing themes of strength and voice.
- Reflections:The program featured diverse speech segments, including a foundational introduction by Nikita, personal reflections shared by Priyanka, and a presentation by Shimbhi highlighting women’s historic achievements across fields. Rajanikant also added unique insights on the theme of philanthropy and social welfare.
- Student Leadership:The stage proceedings were anchored by student hosts Pratibha and Anjali.
The celebration concluded successfully with a formal Vote of Thanks from student coordinator Sonal and the collective singing of the National Anthem.
