Amaltas College of Education celebrated Independence Day 2025 with solemn remembrance and patriotic fervour. The programme began with the unfurling of the national flag by Shri Ranjit Sinha, Chairman of the Managing Committee, followed by an address by Principal Dr. Uday Narayan Singh, who urged future teachers to embrace their role in nation-building.
This year’s celebration was marked by a heartfelt tribute to Lt. Bharti Asha Choudhry, a freedom fighter who recently passed away. Closely associated with the college’s Managing Committee through family ties with Secretary Smt. Ratna Choudhry, Lt. Asha ji’s extraordinary life inspired all present.
The event also featured a vibrant cultural programme by students that included poetry,
songs, speeches and a play “Rukna Mat” under the direction of
Assistant Professor Roshan Kumar.
