India’s 77th Republic Day Celebrated with Cultural Tributes

India’s 77th Republic Day was commemorated on Sunday, 26th January 2026, with a vibrant celebration honouring the Constitution and the spirit of the Republic.

The morning commenced at 9:00 a.m. with the unfurling of the National Tricolour by Trustee Shri Yashvir Sinha, followed by the National Anthem and a recitation of the Preamble led by Kumar Kshetrajna and Rohit Pathak.

The celebration continued in the auditorium with a series of cultural performances by B.Ed. trainees. The programme opened with a group rendition of Vande Mataram by Pratibha, Siddhi, Puja, and Kalindi, followed by an introductory address by Assistant Professor Shri Prabal Pratap Singh. Amarjeet, Richa, and Anjali recited patriotic poems, while Rajnikant spoke on the significance of Republic Day.

Musical tributes included solo performances by Sanju, who sang Vande Mataram Bolo Jawano, and Vandana, who rendered the beloved classic Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon. The cultural segment concluded with a dance performance on Teri Mitti by Pushpraj.

The event closed with a vote of thanks by Nikita and the traditional distribution of sweets.
