A commemorative event was held in the College auditorium on Wednesday, 22nd January 2026 to mark the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Chairman Shri Ranjit Sinha inaugurated the programme with a lamp-lighting ceremony and floral tribute. In his keynote address, he urged students to look beyond textbooks and deeply study the lives and philosophies of iconic leaders such as Subhash Chandra Bose, Lal Bahadur Shastri, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, to build strong character and a sense of national duty.

The celebration featured a variety of student-led tributes that brought Netaji’s legacy to life. B.Ed. trainees Pooja Kumari and Rinki Kumari delivered presentations on Netaji’s contributions to India’s freedom struggle, and shared inspiring glimpses into the life of Asha Sahay Choudhry, a Lieutenant in the Azad Hind Fauj. These were followed by a patriotic poem recited by Anjali and a speech by Pooja Sharma.

A central highlight was the performance of the play ‘Kartavya Path’, staged by students under the direction of Assistant Professor Shri Roshan Kumar. Trainees also displayed original posters honouring the freedom struggle. The programme was moderated by Gunjan and Anchal and concluded with a vote of thanks from Saloni Kumari and the singing of the National Anthem.
