On 25 September 2025, Amaltas College of Education warmly welcomed its 10th batch of B.Ed. students (2025–27). The day began with an icebreaker activity where students formed teams, their first lesson in group formation, a skill they can take to their future classrooms. Each team introduced themselves before coming together in one big circle, setting a friendly and collaborative tone for the year ahead.
The formal session in the college auditorium featured addresses by Chairman Shri Ranjit Sinha, Secretary Smt. Ratna Choudhry, and Principal Dr. Uday Narayan Singh.
Assistant Professor Shri Shashi Kumar Shekhar spoke about the indestructible legacy of the Guru–Shishya Parampara and the institution of family in India.
Alumna Nivedita Kumari, now Principal of a CBSE school, inspired the new cohort with her story of overcoming apprehensions and finding purpose during her two years at Amaltas. Hemant Kumar, a second-year B.Ed. student (2024–26), spoke about his personal journey to becoming a more confident teacher-in-training. Students from our sister school, Amaltas Niketan, added colour to the event with a graceful demonstration of advanced yoga asanas.
The day concluded with a campus tour, a faculty-led introduction to the syllabus, and lunch. Classes are scheduled to begin on 6 October after the Dussehra break.
