A Selection Committee meeting was held on 10th January 2026 at the campus of Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna, to interview candidates for five Assistant Professor positions in the B.Ed. Programme. The positions were in Physical Science, Social Science, Mathematics, English, and Hindi.
The Selection Committee comprised Mrs. Ratna Choudhry, Trustee and Secretary, as Chairperson, Dr. Kumari Anjana, Deputy Registrar, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, as University Representative, and three subject experts: Dr. Rahul Kumar Pandey, Principal, Tarkeshwar Narain Agrawal College of Education, Ara, Dr. Uday Narayan Singh, Principal, Amaltas College of Education, and Dr. Nimisha Srivastava, Associate Professor, St. Xavier’s College of Education, Patna.
Following interviews with eligible candidates, the committee recommended five candidates for appointment: Dr. Prithwi Raj for Social Science, Rajeshvar Kumar Vishwakarma for Hindi, Prabal Pratap Singh for Physical Science, Adarsh Dayal Dubey for English, and Amrendra Kumar for Mathematics. All selected candidates fulfilled the eligibility criteria as per NCTE Regulations 2014 and 2017, holding post-graduate degrees, M.Ed. qualifications, and UGC NET certifications.
