Support Amaltas College of Education
Amaltas College of Education was founded in 2016 with this simple vision: to bring world-class teacher education to the heart of rural Bihar, where opportunities for girls are scarce.
Most families invest in their sons’ education while saving for their daughters’ marriage, leaving girls dependent on their fathers, brothers, or husbands. Amaltas College of Education changes that story. We have made it possible for young women to soar, grow in confidence, and transform not only their own lives but also those of their families and communities. By investing in education, we break cycles of dependence and create a future where daughters are no longer left behind.
When you give, you become the reason a young woman can write her own story and live it fully.
Library Expansion
Our library is a 1,000 sq. ft. space with seating for 50 students and a collection of 4,000 books. It is bright and sunny in the winters but hot and humid in the summers and monsoons. With your support, we will:
- Extend the library area to seat 50 more students.
- Add air conditioning and a false ceiling for year-round comfort.
- Provide new furniture, cupboards, and shelves.
- Strengthen our digital infrastructure.
- Add 1,000 high-quality books to enrich learning.
This investment will transform the library into a vibrant and welcoming learning hub.
Computer Lab Upgrade
Our 600 sq. ft. computer lab currently has 15 computers purchased in 2016, machines that now need replacement. The room also requires new wiring and furniture to make it more efficient and functional. With your support, we will:
- Install 25 new computers.
- Upgrade wiring and add new furniture.
This upgrade will give our students access to essential 21st-century digital skills, helping them compete on equal footing with peers anywhere in the world.
Science & Math Lab Upgrades
Our 1000 sq. ft. science and mathematics labs were first set up in 2016. While they have served our students well, it is now time to upgrade them with more sophisticated equipment that keeps pace with the times. With your support, we will:
- Add advanced instruments and modern lab apparatus.
- Provide additional resources for hands-on mathematics activities and experiments.
This investment will transform the library into a vibrant and welcoming learning hub.
