Dr. Prabir Bera is an Assistant Professor at Amaltas College of Education since August 2025. In the 11 years prior to joining Amaltas, he has held academic positions at several teacher education institutions, including Balurghat B.Ed. College, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, and JNP College of Education. He has also served as Acting Principal at Haladhar Mahato Teachers’ Training Institute, and continues to work as an Academic Counsellor with IGNOU.
Dr. Bera holds advanced degrees in Education, Sanskrit, and Psychology, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Sociology. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed and UGC-listed journals, with research interests spanning education, psychology, Indian Knowledge Systems, and environmental studies. He has participated in over 20 national and international seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
