A two-day workshop on block printing and Manjusha art was held on 27-28 January 2026 for first-year B.Ed. students (2025–27 batch) as part of the Art and Drama curriculum. Led by textile designer Dr. Sunita Prakash from Patna, the workshop covered the history, techniques, and cultural significance of these regional folk-art forms.
Students engaged in practical sessions on block printing and were introduced to Manjusha art – its origins and associated folk tales. They applied block printing techniques to garments and practised colouring Manjusha art sketches. The workshop concluded with guidance on artistic skill development and the distribution of certificates to all participants.
