Shri Shashi Kumar Shekhar, Assistant Professor at Amaltas College and UGC-IKS Certified Master Trainer, was invited as a Resource Person at Patna University on 16th February 2026, marking his second such invitation from a premier institution this month.
He delivered two sessions on the Elements of Indian Knowledge Systems, covering the conceptual foundations of IKS, its multidisciplinary nature, and India’s rich knowledge heritage. The sessions explored diverse domains within an IKS-inspired academic framework and presented a comparative analysis of scientific traditions, demonstrating the continued relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems in modern academic and research contexts.
His invitation follows a session he delivered at a Capacity Building Programme organised by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at IIT Patna earlier this month.
